The annual Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) Awards are around the corner.
Slated for Friday 16th November 2018 at the Nairobi Arboretum, the awards seek to reinforce the place of marketing in the private and public sector.
“Our focus is to award brands and the teams who have shown exemplary marketing excellence within the period October 2017 to October 2018. It is a clear demonstration of outstanding marketing leadership in the different categories as brands that stand out and excel pay close attention to the pillars of marketing in their strategic planning and implementation.” A statement from MSK reads in part.
The Marketing Society of Kenya is the national umbrella body for all marketers and organizations involved in marketing in Kenya.
The Society’s key mandate is to empower and regulate the marketing industry by creating policy that governs the Marketing Industry (self-regulation), education and training of professionals, corporates and entrepreneurs, marketing and business mentorship and an arbiter through the Advertising Standards Board.
This year’s MSK Awards Gala under the theme ‘Marketing in the Age of Disruption’ will bring together several industry players under one roof. Plans are in place to deliver the most exciting event in the marketing communications industry. Nominations for the awards have been sought via an expert jury of reputable marketers and industry experts – chaired by this year’s Chief Judge – George Mudhune as well as representatives from the wider marketing industry.
This year’s awards will see the introduction of new categories under marketing mediums (print, outdoor, TV, radio, digital)
